  • Learn to work with others to create a full sound using only our voices.

The Coal Creek Community Chorus is a vocal ensemble open to residents in and around Louisville, CO (including the communities of East Boulder County and Erie) who love to sing and are passionate about making exciting, beautiful music together. Rehearsing only once a week, the CCCC is designed to accommodate people from around the area who seek an expressive and musical outlet to round out their busy lives. The chorus is open to performing music of all styles, including classical, folk, jazz, spirituals, world music, Broadway, and contemporary pieces. There is no audition to join, and sheet music and rehearsal tracks will be provided for all members to practice their parts at their convenience.

The chorus is under the direction of Stephen Ross, a former high school choir director with 12 years experience, and a performer in Face Vocal Band.
  • Rehearsals are Mondays at the Boulder Valley Church of Christ (270 76th St, Boulder, CO 80303) from 6:45pm-7:45pm on:
    • June 11, 18, 25, July 2, 9, 16, 23,  30, and August 6
  • There will be a performance on August 7 at Ascent Community Church (550 McCaslin Blvd, Louisville, CO 80027; details TBD)
  • CCCC Members are invited to join Face Vocal Band as a “backup choir” for one song at the Arvada Center on August 11. As a result of negotiations with the venue, in order to have a “supporting choir”, CCCC members must purchase a ticket to the concert to participate (details TBD)

Registration is $170 (includes materials fee). An additional $10 will be added if you need an official CCCC Purple T-Shirt (our performance attire this term)

Upon registering for private lessons, you will receive our studio policy for your review.  However, we have changed how we collect our signed policy; once you have signed up for a time slot or group class, we will send you an electronic policy that you can sign over email.  No printing or hassle!

IMPORTANT: Our late fees are $15.  To avoid a late fee assessment, please be sure to make your payment (postmarked) by the end of the following business day of your lesson.  If more than a month overdue the charge will be $25.  If in the past you have been late on a payment and we have not charged you, please know that this term you will be charged.  It's not something we like.  We, unfortunately, have to enforce this policy to keep WBS running smoothly.

We are all looking forward to a wonderful season of singing!
