Whole Body Singing Studio
The intention of Whole Body Singing is to help any level Singer gain confidence through experiential learning. I do my best to not “tell” my students what good singing is, but allow the student to choose for themselves, what sounds and works best for them. I do, of course, have numerous things to share based on my own experience. However, I feel it is best to conduct “experiments” and let you decide for yourself what is best for you in the moment. To me, this is the only way any student can be confident enough to take what they have learned and then apply it.
I work using lower costal breathing technique, and emphasize using the “Whole Body” to help reduce singing from being a “neck up” experience. To use the whole body we must return to the feeling body. (Feeling from the toes up and the head down)
From rock to classical, all styles and students are appreciated here. Diction, vocal eases, physical warm up, and how to deal with performance anxiety are all addressed in my studio.
